WE’RE EXPANDING!  Construction on our New Adoption Center begins January 2006. Our new building will double our capacity to house cats and dogs while they wait for their new homes.   Watch our progress as we post pictures on this page. The new shelter will cost a little over $3 million, and will allow us to save many more of Houston area’s thousands of homeless animals.  Our old shelter is just about worn out and we’re excited to be starting construction on the new Adoption Center which will be located right next to our low-cost Animal Wellness Clinic. The NEW Adoption Center Will: Provide a more pleasant and comfortable environment for the animals as well as our visitors, including efficient climate control Contain mini-mammal & bird habitats Contain an auditorium for humane education and many community outreach projects House our administrative staff (our old building will be used as  headquarters for our expanding R.A.I.D.E.R. animal cruelty investigations department)   If you would like to make a donation to help us complete our new building ANY amount would be greatly appreciated!
