Please understand that Animal Control Agencies will only accept pets from residence that live within the areas that they are responsible for serving. We recommend that you check with your local Animal Control Agency for intake guidelines before arriving at their facility. Texas Penal Code Section 42.092 states that animal abandonment is a crime and can result in a Class A misdemeanor or worse.
