Grab your furry friend and join us for the Yappy Social Hour with the Young Adult Professionals at the Houston Humane Society! The event will be held on Saturday, April 8th, from 2-4 PM at Axelrad Beer Garden. Come along and bring your dog or sign up to volunteer for the Doggy Day Out program at the Houston Humane Society. The program is a great way to spend time with our shelter dogs and help them get the exercise, stimulation, and socialization they need to thrive. Doggy Day Out participants not only make our dogs less anxious or exuberant when they meet potential adopters, but they also gain useful life skills that they wouldn't get from just sitting and waiting in the shelter. Plus, people who might not visit our shelter can see our available animals, which is a huge plus!
