Happy Tail Bella

Hello! Wanting to share our happy tails story!

I came in to HHS in July of 2017 looking for a cat. For some reason I decided to go look at the dogs, despite never having owned one before. At the end of the first row of cages there was this tiny little black and white dog with huge ears and the most sad eyes. The moment I made eye contact with her I just knew we were meant for each other. She had been injured and had surgery a few days prior so unfortunately I couldn’t take her out and interact with her. I had to leave and go home where I promptly told my husband what had happened and how much I wanted her. I ended up coming back to HHS later that day to get her. She had been named Priscilla by the shelter but I changed her name to Bella. She has been with us for almost 5 years now and she is my heart. She’s sassy, fiercely loyal and very intelligent. She is the queen of our house and has known nothing but love and affection since she came home that day. Thank you so much for helping us to find each other!
