Ruby (now Rudi) was surrendered to the Houston Humane Society in August of 2015. She was taken in by the Weimaraner Rescue of Texas for foster care. Rudi was surrendered to HHS emaciated, infested with fleas, heart worms, tapeworms, she had infections in both ears and a discolored coat from being chained outside on concrete by the original owners. She also suffered from separation anxiety.
Today, Rudi is free of worms and has overcome her anxiety. She was adopted by her foster family at the rescue and now lives like royalty. Rudi enjoys terrorizing wildlife in the backyard, going to the park, practicing agility, and sleeping on furniture.
