Happy Tail Sappho and Sylvia

14 years ago today, I chose two kittens from your shelter. Actually, they chose me!!!

Here are Sappho and Sylvia impersonating a two-headed cat!!!

They have filled my heart and home with love.... they helped ease the pain of the loss of my first cat as kittens...and they have given me the compassion to open my home to other shelter pets. We are now a family of 3 cats and 2 dogs...and 1 human who volunteers about 20 hours each week at the Harrison County Humane Society of Iowa.

We now live in Iowa...but I always recall the day I met these two fabulous family members.
