Happy Tail Skipper

On May 3, 2021, I visited The Humane Society on Almeda Rd.  I asked to see Riley, a little 4 1/2 month old stray brought in from McAllen, Tx.  At the time there was a family looking at her, so I waited anxiously.  As it turned out, they didn’t want her, I suppose she wasn’t playful enough for their kids.  (Riley was very scared & shy). As soon as I walked in the room to see her, I got down on the floor, got toys out, started talking to her, and immediately bonded with this precious little puppy! It wasn’t busy so was able to stay almost 2 hours! Needless to say, I adopted my new baby!

 

I renamed her, Skipper!   Skipper & I immediately went to all the stores to buy her new toys, delicious dog food & treats, anything she wanted!

 

Today, Dec 13th, 2021, is Skipper’s 1st birthday🎂🐾🎈 In the 7 months that we have had her,  she has been to Mt Rushmore, SD, Sturgis, SD, Nashville, all over the East coast including Maine, Nantucket (on the ferry) & Cape Cod, plus Florida!! She goes everywhere with us in our 42’ American Eagle Coach!! When we aren’t vacationing, Skipper loves hanging out on my boat with us!

 

We were so lucky to adopt Skipper!!

 

She is a very happy doggie!! 🐾🐾❤️❤️
