Happy Tail Snowball

Snowball was surrendered to Houston Humane Society a week before I started as the Rescue Coordinator. On my second day, I was looking through Pet Point to see if any animals caught my eye that I could get into a rescue group. When I saw Snowball's picture, I was almost in tears. She looked just like my dog that passed in August of 2022, and I couldn't imagine being 18 years old and living my last bit of life in a shelter. A week later, I decided to bring her home as a foster. Within 24 hours, I knew Snowball was meant to live her Golden Years as a Cantrell. I could no longer imagine my life without her! Snowball has since been coming to work with me everyday and she has so much life left to live. She is the spunkiest, spiciest little poodle there ever was! I am so grateful to HHS' vet, Dr. Tony Malone, for stepping in and saving her from being euthanized. Snowball is my best friend, and my life wouldn't be the same without her!
