Happy Tail William

Hello!  My name is Karina and I have been fostering for HHS since January. Before fostering, I became familiar with the work that you all do because I adopted William (previously named Amberrose). I figured I would send his Happy Tails story, hopefully to encourage other people to adopt and even possibly foster. See his story below:

 

Two years ago, my husband and I decided that we would go to HHS to just “look” at the dogs that were up for adoption. Fortunately for us, William (previously named Amberrose) was patiently waiting for his forever family. He had been found with his sister walking in a park and nobody knew where he had come from. The moment my husband and I saw him, we knew we were his forever family. Since then, he has been through so many adventures. He is an amazing brother to Jack, has the weirdest quirks, but is the most lovable good boy. He has been to the beach, has traveled to different cities, and has enjoyed MANY treats. After experiencing the joy of having him in our lives, we decided to continue our efforts with HHS and became fosters in January. He now has become a foster brother and LOVES it. Attached you will see pictures and a video of him welcoming and interacting with the other foster pups. William is not only our dog, he is truly our family member and we could not see our lives without him! ❤️
