Happy Tail Stuart

Meet Stuart (Joc)! I had been looking for a kitten to join my family (myself and my 1.5 year old cat, Stella). Stella is very playful and friendly but not a cuddle bug. As a homebody, I was hoping to find a “lap cat” who I can provide a loving forever home to! 

 

I began looking on the Houston Humane Society website and came across this little guy named Joc. He was described by his foster as a lap cat! I submitted my application on a Friday and waited patiently till Tuesday and was told my application was approved. Yay! I set up a meet and greet with Joc and his foster and the rest is history. He crawled onto my lap and sat there for almost all of the meet and greet. I couldn’t believe it. 

 

Stuart has been the best addition to my family!!! What a fun couple of weeks it’s been. I absolutely adore him and am so lucky to be his mom. My cat, Stella, is also obsessed with him. They are the sweetest pair and love to play and hang out together. Stuart loves playing with all the toys and exploring the apartment. When they are not playing, Stuart is laying in my lap. He loves to be my reading buddy. 

 

I am so thankful for the HHS and Stuart’s foster Heather! Stuart was very lucky to have been rescued and fostered by Heather!
