Keep your pet safe this holiday season, with these safety tips for your dog! 🐾🎄

The holidays are full of fun and festivities but can also bring hidden dangers for our furry friends.

Keep your pup safe and happy this season with these tips:

1️⃣ Watch the Treats: Avoid giving your dog human holiday foods, especially chocolate, raisins, and anything with xylitol. Instead, treat them to pet-safe treats!

2️⃣ Decorate Wisely: Keep ornaments, tinsel, and string lights out of reach to prevent accidental swallowing or chewing.

3️⃣ Mind the Plants: Poinsettias, holly, and mistletoe can be toxic to dogs. Opt for pet-safe greenery instead.

4️⃣ Secure the Tree: Make sure your Christmas tree is stable so it won’t tip over if your dog gets curious. Prevent your dog from drinking the tree water, as it can be toxic and lead to poisoning. Additionally, tree needles pose a risk of obstructing or puncturing their gastrointestinal tract.

5️⃣ Quiet Space: Create a calm, cozy spot for your dog to relax away from noisy gatherings. Too much excitement can be stressful!

6️⃣ Travel Safely: If you’re traveling with your dog, ensure they’re secured in a crate or seatbelt harness in the car.
