AFTERMATH OF BERYL: HELP US RESTORE OUR SHELTER
As the chaos of an early seasoned storm made landfall, hitting Houston as a mix of a Category 1 hurricane/Tropical Storm with catastrophic winds, the over 300 animals that are sheltered by Houston Humane Society were safe in their respective kennels.
However, the outer workings of our shelter were not subjected to that same fate. Branches, debris, downed fences, uprooted trees, and scattered precious supplies are strewn about the outdoor areas of the shelter as Beryl shook them up & threw them around.
Thankfully on our clinic side, the damage was minimal and vaccines are being kept safe by our generator and we are ready to serve you with our full veterinary team on standby. For more information about clinic services, visit: https://www.houstonhumane.org/clinic/about-our-clinic
We are asking our community, which has shown just how generous they are in situations like these at lending a helping hand and a caring heart, to get involved.
Please donate directly to the link below to assist in the reparation efforts
Together, and only together, we can create a more Humane Houston.
