Shiny

A little over 13 years ago, we walked into Houston Humane Society in search of our new family member, we met a few different dogs and then we met Shiny, fka Joey. She was the perfect dog for us, she was 6 months old at the time, active and playful but cuddly at the same time. She went through all of life’s challenges with me as we both grew older together. She was the diva of the dog park who barked when any dog ran by too fast, she was the alpha of the house at just 20lbs, and she was overall our best friends and a beloved family member. We had to let her cross the rainbow bridge Sunday 8/4, but have finally worked up the courage to write her happy tails 13 years later in memory of her.
