Spirit and Truth

In September, the Houston Humane Society brought Spirit and Truth to safety from a horrific barn fire.

Sadly, the second horse named Truth, sustained injuries that were far too fatal and we lost our poor Truth a week into treatment.

After weeks of intense equine veterinary care, Spirit is finally on the mend and acting like a horse again!

His injuries are healing slowly but surely, and Spirit's kind demeanor and trust in goodness shines through.
