The Houston Humane Society is caring for 88 cats today from a hoarding seizure

ANIMAL CRUELTY UPDATE: The Houston Humane Society is caring for 88 cats today from a hoarding seizure of Harris County Animal Cruelty Taskforce partners, BARC, and Houston Police Department Major Offenders Animal Cruelty Unit.

 

The group of animals in our care include 5 litters of kittens, some with and without the mother, adult cats that suffer from eye infections, and several skin conditions.

 

The HHS veterinary team is currently conducting medical evaluations of each animal and creating a specific treatment protocol to address the special needs of each one.
